Alejandra Montaño Romero is a graduate student in the Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology (BCMB) program. She received her B.S. in Biology from St. Mary’s University in 2020. Alejandra is interested in time-resolved cryo-EM technology development and how AMPARs contribute to various neurological disease states. She uses cryo-EM and molecular dynamics in her research.
